I am an international award-winning photographer specializing in nature and aerial photography. My passion for photography includes a career working in the Education departments of software companies such as Nik Software, Google+ Photos, and as the Senior Education Manager at Skylum. I also worked for ViewBug and as an Inception Master for Trey Ratcliff's, The Arcanum. I am currently the North America Education and Project Manager for DxO. I also taught workshops and have freelanced as a Pro Photographer and judged photo contests.
Several of my aerial images were selected to be on a worldwide tour with DJI's SkyPixel Perspective Gallery. I have won numerous 1st place awards, including the Windland Smith Rice International Awards for the Zoo & Aquarium category. My image was in the Fall Awards issue of Nature's Best and displayed at the Smithsonian Natural History Museum. My images have been displayed in galleries, magazines, books, local news, and greeting cards.
I have been on the PPA (Professional Photographers of America) EDU Advisory Committee and for many years I was on the Communications/Marketing Committee for the North American Nature Photography Association (NANPA) and a member of Nikon Professional Services (NPS). I am a member of the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) and I am a DJI Skypixel Expert. I have my FAA Drone Commercial License.
